mawalang-galang na, 'Seph, but is that a Denon broadcast arm on your Lenco? if not, what is it? what's the brand of the other arm?

on topic: how does your L75 compare to your 124? is the 124 far far superior to its cheaper roommate or am i asking an "apples-oranges" question?

thanx!

Lenco's simplicity has to be a plus.
We need a seperate Lenco thread, it could be called Lenco Lovers........

The short arm is an Audio-Technica AT1007 the other is an SME3012-II.

Shoot outs are fun but through the years I've just been enjoying music because listening to sound takes away the pleasure. That said, a week ago I was at Joel's and we were listening to Marty's L75/AS212/Joey plinth with a cheap A-T mc cartridge, compared to the 301/Ikeda/SPU it was just OK.....then the SPU was transferred to the L75/AS212 and saw smiles in the room.....the rest of the session was spent with the Lenco also using the Koetsu Black and DL103.

I've only set up my stereo system this past week (been listening to mono since the show) and have not had time to go on analytic mode to compare the TD124/Schick to either the 301 or L75. On my next free time, I'll probably just set up the ROK L34 or L37, Realistic MKVII (static display at the show) and Shield (Neat)....all of these idler TTs play musical chairs in my system.

I've been saying to friends the past couple of years if a TD124/301/401 isn't within budget, restore a Rek O Kut, Lenco, a vintage Japanese idler, Russco, QRK and etc. Tune/voice the system to that particular front end and enjoy the music!

Hope this helps!
