My guess is that maybe it will be like 1k U.S. Dollars ang price nyan or even more

Thank goodness I got mine at the old price...
I haven't played vinyl for months until last night, and this TT with the Shure m97xe is the real thing...
It makes a good case for a relaunch, but at US$4k... it may no longer be for the masses.

I don't remember it being "for the masses". When some college buddies and I set up a mobile disco in the late 70's, we couldn't afford it.

Word is that the G will cost as much as the 4k Magnesium bodied GAE. With prices like that I think the coming new SP looks like a better long term prospect/investment.

That motor alone would explain the price hike. Bonus for the platter and feet. If I'm not mistaken the The MG arm was already included in the M5G and the 6.
