Salamat kapatid! I just PMed him. Hoping to get in touch with him soon so we can hear the SL 1700 rock. BTW, just finished half of the LP stack I suddenly got blessed with. Lots of rock and roll albums and jazz. The OPM records were mostly in bad condition so that is a letdown but who's complaining. . . how often do you get 100+ LPs with artists mostly from Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendriks, Sting, America, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Eagles etc all Hall of famers from the rock era. Hehehe! Want to hear them?! . . . .

Cheers

Holy Moly! I have none of those albums you mentioned kapatid. Your uncle knows what to collect and knows to whom to unload them. Or, maybe your uncle is just tired of rocking-and-rolling.

My uncle has shifted to the more convenient media such as CDs and multimedia players. No time to do the usual vinyl routines. Anyway, I think the stylus on the SL 1700 is a bit worn out. Problem is, I think sourcing it may be a problem since the cart does not sound familiar to me. It is Pickering XSV3000. Anyone heard of it? Sorry am just a newbie to the "Dark Side". Hehehe.
