Nice, simple, complete setup.

... and great record too!

ps.

I see your speakers are standing on some material. Does the speakers have cone feet? Try experimenting with them. I understand the concern with the wooden floor so try using footers.

the aurum f-series speakers come with spikes. You may use footers or simply place a 1 peso coin below the spikes to protect the floor. this should improve bass and dynamics (in theory hehehe).

very very observant sir arnold. :) galing

Dear Gents,

Thanks for the feedbacks. Will try to get these so-called footers.

Look for Lovan footers. They're cheap. Got mine from Rene Rivo.

I used a coin with a cork underneath which I use on my speakerstand's spike. It works better musically for me with the cork.

Rain,

I think Zetroce was just converting 1 Singaporean dollar based on the DIY pic of Edwin .... 1 SGD = 31 PHP. so 8 spikes (8 SGD dollar coins) for a pair of speakers are equivalent to 248 pesos.

Back in business...have taken another Thorens TD160 and matched it w/ my Jolida which I brought with me. Hooked via a Cambridge Audio 540P phonostage and playing w/ my Mission 773 Floorstander.

And some newly acquired vinyls as well.

Got some of the same albums you have from Gramophone yesterday. Sayang di ako nakakita nung GnR Use Your Illusion LPs. Had those in cassette back during the cassette days. Sound trip talaga especially the song Coma :) Hope you've settled well.
