Setup na din the laptop rig with a Line Magnetic Mini218 (NOS pair National 12ax7 & Mundorfed), Ifi Audo I-DAC and I-USB, B&W LM-1, and Grado SR-125. I like the Jolida sound, but the Ifi's save space...hmmmm :?:

Just finished integrating the 705 with the strata. For music the 705 seems to get by on its own, so will probably just use the strata when watching movies for extension, or on the rare occasion of music with content below 40hz.

Heck with space, kasya pa naman eh  So Jolida Glass FX Tube DAC (NOS pair 12ax7 Matsushitas) takes back its rightful throne :) . Also changed the stock LM tubes to nos Brimar EL34's.

Trying something new with the dining setup. Used the Magnepan MMGs' driven by the Bada DC-222 Hybrid. Also tested driving them with an Emotiva XPA-3 along with the Tono Violin, but ultimately preferred the sweetness of the Hybrid (albeit less spl).

Then I began integrating the Velodyne DD-18 into the mix and after some time got it tuned quite flat.

Then after tuning with the DD18:

Had an idea of mixing modern and vintage gear to see how it would do. I changed out the TT from the Dual 701 to the Rega RP3 while still retaining the Jolida JD9 with NOS Mtsushitas, the Cayin CDT17A tube CDP to a Rotel 1072 and Popcorn Hour C200 both running off a Jolida Glass FX tube DAC with NOS Matsushita too. Changed out the Hitachi 6SN7GTB to NOS G.E. on the Tono Violin. Wow, now it can do multi genre!
