With the recently reported floods in Calgary, hope our WS members in Canada are all OK.

we are 300 kms north of Calgary, been raining here as well but not flooded like the southern cities like Calgary, Lethbridge & Canmore. Up north in Ft. McMurray they're also dealing with the same. So with parts of Saskatchewan.

Sa alam ko Audie's is in Calgary, but he could be back to the middle east..

scary part is - it is only June, we typically get more rain in July

I guess I should stop complaining that it rains the day after I clean my car when other people not too far from where we are are dealing with severe weather.

Grabe ang baha sa South East around the Bow River kahit sa Downtown. Ngayon lang daw nagyari ang ganito according sa mga matatagal ng residents. Everyone is helping each other though.

Audie,

I hope you and your family are doing fine and does not have to deal with it.

My cousins live in the north west and are ok.

Yup, ngayon ko lang narinig na binaha ang downtown Calgary. Sa mga ganitong incidents mo maa-appreciate ang kagandahang loob ng Canadians, as they really go out of their way to help one another. Even all levels of the government. The military has dispatched over a thousand soldiers to patrol the evacuated areas and prevent looting from vacant houses.
