Audio HiFi stores in Tokyo?

I am in Tokyo now. Maybe someone can give me a lead where and what shop can I check for audio gears? Will really appreciate if I can know the address or building of said audio lairs. I will be in Akihabara in a few days.

side streets on akihabara not on the main street. i'm familiar to that place i studied in Tokyo and every sat i went there.

audio specialty stores on the side streets you can not find on the main. just walk around. they are small stores. most on the left sides if you come from uenno station.

Though my focus was really food and not audio.

For CDs and LPs, check Recofan or Disk Union in Shibuya. Recofan has a lot of used but mint LPs. There is also an HMV and Tower in the area. Shimaru and Recofan in Akiba have plenty of stocks also.

When I went to Osaka, I saw a lot of chains there but found Disk J.J. as the best.

The tnt-audio guide was written some years back and wasnt able to check if it is still reliable. I think much has changed in the Akiba landscape already.
