Postby Superman » Sun Sep 16, 2007 11:39 pm

Guys, need your recommendations...just for about 3nights of stay...in a tight budget...for as long as clean, safe, no insects, etc., preferably near Nathan Road (either Jordan, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok), budget is HK$400.00 and below...thanks and God bless!

Superman

PS: Accomodation for three to four persons in one room...di bale siksikan, tulugan at liguan lang naman...thanks again! :D

Waldorm Inn in north point

http://www.waldorm.com/index.htm

hk$350 a night. two beds and clean naman siya tapos may free wifi access pa. I always stay there para hindi sayang money for lodging. My girlfriend's aunt also operates an Inn like waldorm but I've never stayed there. If you're interested I could ask her for more details.

I am not sure but it was very cheap. I booked thru my travel agent. Mas mura pa sa 3 days 4 nights boracay trip. If i am not mistaken around 800 dollars inclusive of planefare. We stayed there from 26 to 30 december. peak season.

x2 on the salisbury (ymca). spacious rooms, ok na ok, malapit pa sa stores. definitely much better than those new astor/panda budget accomodations.

jen, i used this service to book a budget but very good clean room in japan. i suppose it should work as well for hongkong:

http://www.asiarooms.com/hong_kong/kowloon.html

it's legit and worked well for as long as you don't fear using credit card over the internet. :)

Supe, I asked my gf about her aunt's inn and I it is located in north point too. She told me that you'd be better off with waldorm because waldorm is cheaper and is better located.

Just a stone's throw away from the mtr station.

Or stanford hotel in mongkok, very near the night/street market...

The safest and comfortable compromise is the mayfair garden hotel in yau mai tei. Just a block from Jordan cor. nathan. The listed price is HKD 600 but I suggest you enroll as member with www.agoda.com. Its a Singapore based online hotel agent that you can get discounts booking online. Yun 600 bababa pa to about 520 - 550. Very good deals and you accumulate points that you can use on your next visit anywhere as a discount.
