marami din dito, pero wala pang maayos na samahan maliban sa ilan kong tropa na sa weekend pag-di busy nagsasama-sama kami sa place namin. medyo maliit kasi an place kaya walang buelo an set-up ko.

2.5 yrs in dubai and i've yet to meet a pinoydiophile here...i've been exchanging pm's with the saudi gang though...

I think that's a good idea, maybe we can have a unified title (parang boxing) " Pinoydiophiles in the GCC ". this covers all GCC member countries and not limited to audio only, as well as HT.

naku, nahuhuli na ako sa balita, meron na palang motion, motion for a GCC Pinoydiophiles! Maybe we can work out something to encourage everybody(GCC based) to become active in our hobby
Any suggestions?
For us here in Riyadh, we'll start cd's group buy by next month as soon nakabalik ng lahat ng nasa bakasyon.
Hopefully in the very near future, i hope we can all meet each other somehow somewhere in this boiling sands on Arabia!

I finally met some serious audiophiles in Dubai!

I was delighted to have been visited by Leo and Edgar last week for a night of listening session. It was such an exprience as it was the first time I met the gentlemen with serious taste for music. Thank you guys for coming and I hope to meet more of you in the near future.

Wow, Farley, you are such a prolific builder!

And here I am needing to change the battery in my Red Wine Audio modified Squeezebox 3 with just 2 solder points and I've managed put it off for 2 years!

I'm glad to see another Nelson Pass fan. I could only ever afford one of his products, the Aleph 5. It's a beautiful monster of an amp--looks a lot like the Borg in Star Trek. I've had great success mating it with a passive pre (sort of how Pass intended it to be given the design of the matching pre amp) as well as with a tubed, zero feedback pre-amp. If you would like exchange notes on how it sounded, feel free to send me a PM.
