conrad-johnson mv60se 6550 pushpull amp..
tungsol vt231 black glass
telefunken 12ax7 smooth long plates

how does it sound?

a "modern" tube sound -- clear, clean, good extended highs, smooth mids
but less warm and less dynamic than my eico monoblocks...

i believe Gaucho has the same amp...had the privilege to hear it paired with the cremona auditors, FT audio and consonance CDP...GALING!...ENJOY!

a quad on sovtek kt88's gives this amp greater dynamics and umph in the bass! an enjoyable amp indeed :-)
