Yes from Southridge but son of Paco. Should be around batch '93 or '94 :)

It took a while for me to get used to the L2 Ref also :)

i lost track how many hours i clocked now for the break-in...i guess it's done...hehe..with a new set of NOS tubes for the L2, a much cleaner (AC) power source, newly-restored vintage power amps driving the LS3/5A-AB1s, i'm bringing out more LPs and enjoying them...50s (jazz), 60s, 70s, 80s music :)

wow didn't realize, the preamp is now 7 months old.

finally, this pre-amp now sounds as clean and musical as i wanted it to be, after a few changes: ;)

- power supply was replaced with the tubed one (vs ss) using a nos mullard rectifier (replacing a stock russian),
- the coupling caps upgraded to mundorf gold/silver/oil (stock was a mundorf too, non oil)
- black gate electrolytics replacing stock
- stock mullard reissues 6sn7s were replaced by nos sylvania vt231
- stock stepped attenuator was replaced with a newer one. (stock was noisy and shorted)
- long break-in (>500 hrs)

i just love this preamp - perfect for my needs with 6 inputs and 3 outs. :) always musical...
