Hyperion (hansen) is the SF expert but as far as i know, the GP's have similar drivers to the concertinos. the minima amator's have upgraded drivers (tweeters). they do sound more refined. compared to my concertos they are more 'truthful' without the bloat. they are very pretty speakers with superb craftmanship (all wood, not veneer) and sounds very musical.

have tried driving them with my VV30B amp, and they are easy to please. do drop by for a listen if interested.

reason for selling: gathering dust. i have more speakers than rooms in the house and this one is too small for my listening room. near mint condition. i think i still have the box somewhere in the house.

My GP's are gathering dust!
I considered using them as part of of HT set up but think better i sell them, having the rubber surrounds re-glued first.

The Minima's would be perfect for my very small KL room.
What is a good time to drop by next week? (Not back in Manila till Saturday night).

I've heard these MAs in VD's listening room. You can't believe the room-filling sound is coming from these babies. Very refined indeed, and the midrange is something special.

just fired-up these speakers with the CJ MV60SE. there is something about the Sonus-Conrad combo that makes it really special. big sound, authoritative, sweet, and fun! stage is huge and deep...uuuh

what amp will drive these speakers?

ASL with 211's or Tono personal or Sansui AU70.
They will be in a very small room, about 10x11, don't need a lot of volume.
These are to replace Loth-X Ion 4, now driven with the Tono Personal / Violin with the Violin gain barely above 20%.
Presently driving Sonus EAII's with the ASL amps in a room twice the size and have never exceeded 50% on pre amp.
Are the Minima's harder to drive than EAII's?
