Is that your ST70, ice?

The chrome job works wonders, aesthetically. The shiny surfaces on the chassis and transformer end bells reflect the glow from the tubes so well that your amp looks like it has more tubes than it really does.

Can't wait to get mine back from the repair shop.

and his list of specs:

3. souped up power transformer for power reserve to drive inefficient
speakers.
4. ultra-fast diode (with snubber) on bias supply for stable bias even on
high transient signals.
5. 16-gauge heavy duty 3-prong power cords.

signal and output circuits:

1. multicap rtx & illinois caps coupling capacitors.
2. allen-bradley carbon comp resistors used throughout for dynamics,
dynamic bloom and liquidity.
3. 5% polypropylene capacitors on feedback and filter circuits for signal
accuracy.
4. triode/ultralinear switching.

tubes used:

Wowieeeeeee! Ganda, ganda. Malpit na rin kaming (Amandarae) masali dito. My ST-70 (still in transit) comes with full blown Curcio Mods using 6dj8/6922 as drivers. Svet EL-34. Auricaps/Rel/Panasonic?orange drops caps. The Quad caps were replace by Curcio circuit and power cords were upgraded too. I'll search for metal plating business and make my chassis and end bells chrome too. Whew. nakakainip. Godspeed.
