What do you think about the brand new Richard Allans?

There are many from the LS 3/5A camp (including yours truly) who talk of nothing but praise for these old venerable speakers. It has come to a point that some are even wondering why these speakers (for its small size) can achieve such good sound that it's almost like a myth!

For a change, let's hear what's wrong with the LS?

There are some who think it has little bass. Colored. Can't go loud. All that you hear is the midrange. No extension. Needs tube amplification. Difficult to set-up, and what else?

Any LS 3/5A owner who wants to take on the issues that we would be happy to listen to?

Fire away!
