We still have a few friends in migration pattern & holding (as i mentioned to you). One of them committed on leaving another pair to us before he goes. Of course, "friendly" price din Mitch (not the Chartwell though).

A friend is finally leaving for Toronto with 4 Boxes. Gave me a one night stand with his 4 pairs. It was a busy night. Sad to know the 4 are leaving Hong Kong. The quad were, and in order of my preference:

Spendor 15 Ohm Pair (tranny xover daw) My fave of the four.
Harbeth Signature Series, Golden Tweeter.
Harbeth Classic
Spendor 11 Ohm Rosewood (banged up cabinet).

My resident Spendors did well againts the last three. But IMHO, the 15 Ohm Spendor was way above them all.

Too bad my only camera went camping with my daughters' best friend, sigh.

that’s the only pair (15 ohm) missing in your collection - right? why not convince your friend to leave the pair and in return you can help him reduce his shipping costs .

Grant, Hansen's in town, the "living voice" legend of them Sonus Fabers. Oscar plans to invite him, and so is me, classmate ko sa "baha" ito sa Manila. Can't forget that ordeal.

A new audio video shop is opening today at SM. Daming speakers, imported CDs, and a nice to talk to pretty manager. I listen to the Revels (with a cause) today!
