I've been hearing about these speakers for years. I'm looking for new speakers and I'd love to try them out but i haven't seen them in the usual suspects places? Anyone know where I can go? :D

These speakers have been out of production for some time. Numerous WS members have these in their collection including Vintage Dog, KD, Mozilla, MVA etc. Your best bet is to have them open their doors to you for a listen.

doh!

Alright, thanks for the info. That's kinda disappointing but i guess there's always Dynaudio or Merlins. Can anyone describe what the ls3/5a sounded like?

If i'm not mistaken, there used to be one seller here before who sells brand new units of LS3/5A. I think the brand is Richard Allan. I'm not so sure if he still sells them. :)

While checking out information on the LS3/5A, I came across this site. It made me laugh and the guy has a point.

Bro, I have a Vietnamese friend of mine in Melbourne, Australia who still have a pair of LS35a - Harbeth but am not sure if he is selling it since he is not anymore using it. He bought the Lamberto Audition Series 1 Speaker in Italian Walnut Timber Enclosure sometime ago. Here's the Lamberto Speaker am talking about in different finish - this is my personal pair. It's employing Dynaudio Drivers 15 W-75 Woofer and Esotec D-260 Tweeter:

I'll let you know later.... Thanks.
