i am a newbie with the Ls35a speakers, and having just bought the drivers and still waiting for the sales people from the UK to get back to me on the crossovers, anyone have any thoughts on building their own cabinets for the Ls3 speakers??

Instead of making them, you can try Doug Stirling for the cabs. There are some clone makers in HK I believe as well. Just dunno if they are birch. Specs call for it since cab is part of the design equation. Good luck on your search.
