Yes. But I think the owner specified some upgrade to his speakers from the manufacturer like color and silver windings, etc.

JBL Paragon fully veneered. Now being readied for finishing.

Missing wood parts still being fabricated. A wooden platform with exactly the same shape as the paragon bottom and with rollers underneath is being made also for easy speaker placement.

Thanks for looking!

Re: open baffle speakers

the speakers now playing at the owner's home. I was wrong to state at first that the drivers are voxativ. I was told the drivers are fertin. very nice PX25 SET amp with tamura irons powering the speakers. homebrewed by the owner.

with the matching maple wood table that the owner asked me to make out of the previous speaker baffle.

Thanks again for looking.

Both! Ha Ha. And thank you!

This is a rare speaker set and maybe few units only can be found in the country. That is why Lin and the speaker owner now have been keen on restoring them. This speaker is not for everyone - its 9-ft. length being one of the reasons.

What a beauty! I've seen this Paragon in Malate still in rough condition. It was painted black then. Congrats to both owner and restorer.

VITAVOX - Like finding a needle in a haystack

Postby camotecue » Thu Apr 24, 2014 3:47 pm

This set of speaker components was luckily to have been found sleeping in a monastery in the North. The individual components are in great condition considering their age. The slight loose connections in the crossovers are no problem with our Master L in Dau.The original worn-out Vitavox horn-loaded cabinets were replaced with something simpler as requested. What British sound! :)
