am I seeing it correctly - that audio rack is made from cardboard boxes? ^

You seem to be right! Initially, I thought it was some sort of cloth or rug. :?: But right, it looks like cardboard sandwiched together. :D

I don't think it is cardboard. It seems to be multi ply 1/4" boards. Baka Hardiflex Vince? :lol:

I think they are. Those are A-Flute corrugated boards bound together to provide the the stiffness required to support the weights. You can see from the sides that there are creases formed, maybe because the weight is really heavy. :D Vince, tanong mo kay Rose, alam niya iyan, hehehe.

The picture of the JMW 10.5 is kinda different, as it has its original VTA on the fly tonearm base. :?: As far as I know, the Classic does come standard with the JMW 10.5, but incorporates a basic tonearm base like the JMW9, and does not have that provision for VTA on the fly. :?:
