My DIY acrylic rack based on TNT-Audio design. Also featured at TNT-Audio web site.

Version 2

The imported acrylic sheets, pre-cut on order from COMGLASCO. The size is 4' x 6' that will yield 8 pcs of 24" x 18" shelves.

There's a German made tube amp - The Assistent, that has a see-thru casing. I was thinking of doing something similar for my 5687 project using acrylic...hmmmmm...

@mozilla, i was thinking of doing that, but will use PCB the tube on the top side and parts on the underside.

superman,

a fully assembled, finished rack will cost P6,000 all-in (parts/3rd-party labor/love)

4 x 24" x 18" x 3/4" acrylic shelves
3 x 24" high stainless steel rods, as feet
solid chrome cupped nuts, on top and bottom ends of the rods
stainless steel washers plus rubber washers (DIY din) to sandwich shelves
