Not really an expert, but for piano solo...Chopin , Beethoven, Shubert, Schumann, Haydn,Liszt, Brahms and of course Mozart.
Look for their sonatas, etudes, nocturnes, ballades, etc.

Of course there are many many more, but the above will get you started on the right musical path...!

Lang Lang's "Chopin Album" under sony is a recently released new recording under sony Classical. I have not visited Fully Booked BHS after moving out of Manila but last time I was there, the vinyl section does have a number of reissued vinyl pressing of classical recordings. Try to find a reissued vinyl pressing of Vivaldi's Lute conciertos and trios, as well as Andre Rieu's Senerata.

Hope this helps

This is more of a personal preference, as I favor the older pianists haha. What comes to mind are the following:
Philippe Entremont, V.Ashkenzy, Van Cliburn. Gould, Alfred Brendel. I am sure there still a lot of LPs by the above artist around as they were very popular in the 60's & 70's.

Try to hear works by the "old masters" like , Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubenstein, Sviatoslav Richter, they are still the "gold standard" , for me.

Likewise, search for pieces played by Agerich & Mitsuko Uchida, 2 of the best female pianists.

And of course as recommended by boss Jon Agner, Lang Lang, truly 21st century. Check him in YouTube, you will be amazed! OTOH, all of the above mentioned pianists can be seen in YouTube.

For comparison, check out Horowitz playing Schubert's Impromptu in G flat major in YouTube, will give you an idea why they re called "Masters."

Apology if there are typos specially with the names.

HTH, enjoy!
