Old British press records that made me turn to vinyl

Postby alfa » Wed Dec 23, 2015 11:59 pm

On a recent trip to London i was able to score some used British pressed records, some were first presses i think the others were 2nd or third, most were 1950s presses. As soon as i saw them i bought what i can carry with me even if i did not have a turntable at that time. As soon as i got back to Manila i wasted no time in getting a TT from a local dealer. Its a basic Denon rig. Funny how these records actually hooked me into vinyl. Five months into the game and i have upgraded the Denon to an Ortofon red from the stock cartridge. The sum made me realize what a good cartridge can do in terms of improving the sound quality that can be squeezed out from the vinyl

Here are some of the records;

:rock: Thanks for sharing. Reminds us of why once we go black-vinyl black to be specific- we can't go back.
