ARTICLE ON 10 VINYL STORES IN MANILA

Postby sumnerbrowne » Fri Mar 07, 2014 8:00 am

Superman shared this article in FB. Learned about other stores in the metropolis in the process. Thanks, bro.

For some reason, Bebop, Stereofiles Audio and Vinylhead Wreckords are not in the list. Vinyl Dump and Grey Market made it to the list.

selfish it may sound, but the upside is, there would be less piranhas in the shops not mentioned.

I'm happy that grey market is here, but it's a shame that Bebop isn't here. Bebop has been around way before all of these record shops, cheers to Bob for championing the physyical record shop

Vinylhead records though new to the game like Grey and the others, have been a relevant record shop along with Tres Kuleros. I am not saying the others don't belong on the list but I feel madaming importante ang wala sa listahan.

Just goes to show you cant take in everything on the net hook, line, and sinker.

Pero kulang lang siguro sa homework yung mga nagsulat ng article.
Probably some young ‘hipsters’ who discovered something new (to them) that we here have known all along for more years than we care to remember.

. . . teka, may reprint ba yung Anakbayan? :^)

Do you guys use or are aware of the app The Vinyl District? It a listing of vinyl shops. Most of the shops in the article are in the app but no Bebop.

I already wrote the developer an email to include Bebop along with other shops that I know. I even provoded the addresses and the contact numbers. That was a week ago. Developer replied positively. Kakarefresh ko lang. Wala pa din.

i don't understand this one, I could be mistaken but in case it is insinuating a conflict between wiredstate and pinoydvd I don't want to be a part of it. I think both forums are gems. If inside joke or story to, my apologies.

Yep, I was there the other night and had a long chat with the owner.
He strikes me more of a businessman rather than the likes of Jay, Mogul, Bob, Gypsy, and the other usual suspects here who really know their music.
