You can try a Pro-ject tube box as well, essentially a Pro-Ject phono box with a tube buffer at the output circuit.

hmmm...the MF M1VNL is about $1,200. not sure there is an iVinyl model for less than $500. if there is, i stand corrected.

all three have mm/mc and sound very good.

Or you can try the various Philippine -made phono stage/pre amps, both solid state & tube models, which equally get good reviews.
These are made by forum regulars; jojoD, mangTony and Rene Rivo. There are still a couple of more name but they escape me now.
