Vinyl in the Mainstream Press

In which we may report articles written about our favorite recording medium in the conventional (non-trade) press, such as CNN, USA Today, and other general audience publications.
The first is by James Pilcher in the Cincinnati Enquirer. He recently discovered the (fun?) art of dubbing his vinyl collection to CD-R and decided he did not want to use software to remove the ticks and pops. Pilcher apparently is a member of UTOT (Cincinnati chapter), although he misspells the brandname. I guess he is still probationary.
