Dead 1200s resurrected nay, born again or even reincarnated! Excellent work!
I do have to raise the question: How is the performance? Is it equal or better than original specs? What is done to recalibrate the tonearm alignment, bearing play, bearing friction, anti-skate, rumble and noise, etc.
Please do not take my inquiry in a negative light. I do not want to put a damper on your excellent venture, I simply would like to spur you on toward a better product by covering areas you might have missed.
Congratulations on such fine work. AMAZING, simply amazing!

You must really know the 1200 very well to disassemble and reassemble it after the body work, even complete those with missing parts.
Just curious, is Works1200 your project name or you plan to provide this as a service? I think it would be good to know someone can do this kind of job in WS.

1. i'd just like to ask if you can do other turntables like belt drives or idler drives.
2. i have a beloved JVC QL-F6 direct drive turntable whose 45 rpm is not functioning (the 33 rpm works well though). can you bring the 45 rpm
speed back to life?
keep up the good work. we need more talented people like you.
