each interested participant guaranteed to bring home at least 5 LPs for free:

mechanics:

1. to join, you have to donate at least 2 good LPs from your collection (no locally-pressed LPs please), any genre ...

2. we will pool all LPs, classify them and if needed grade them for reference

3. we will draw names of all participants to determine priority in selection of records....first name to get drawn gets a chance to get 1st lp of his choice...second name drawn picks his choice and cycle continues until everyone has 5 records each...if we have 10 participants, we will draw 50 times (5x10).

if interested, you have to sign-up here. we will distribute records from mandym, my own, and the 2 lps each one of you would have to bring...

LP donations most welcome...thanks to mandym and ambel (who sent a box of records before)

tama ka dun hansen, like i don't have any rock LPs to give and what are the chances that somebody will have rock LPs i like

okay, we won't have any restrictions on the genre of records you'll donate!

also, to clarify, this will not be a raffle - we will draw names to determine priority as to who gets to choose first (we will use bingo chips in drawing numbers)

all remaining records will be distributed to all participants using same priority sequence

this should be fun! everyone will bring home at least 5 lps each plus more!

guys,

most likely, our EB will be this sunday na, 2pm at my place in alabang. proxy is possible but we still need your 2 lps. on proxy, you can't bring home more than 5 lps and you are automatically the last in the queu to select. all remaining lps will be distributed only to those who are present.

pls post your 2 lps for donation now...

btw, can folks bring some merienda too.

okay, am also letting go about 100 locally-pressed LPs, which i got as a lot from someone else...they are obviously not my kind of music and they have to go..

am adding in some (20-30) foreign-pressed albums, some sealed, some classical, some jazz and maybe some rock...

all free to those coming...

i have an original pressing RCA DYNAGROOVE of the original broadcast recording of HAIR...record is near mint...this is a DYNAGROOVE...if you like it, it's yours, if not it goes to anyone who likes them...sorry, i don't have any rock left...you like janis joplin..i think i have her albums too...
