finally picked up from hypertriode the thorens tt 166m5. rene installed the budget grado red cart which came from my michel mycro tt...anyway, tonight, i decided to go real retro...pulled out my trusty and classic eico hf81(1959) integrated amp and plugged the tt in...selected an ella lp - played blue moon...and oohh lala,, what a nice relaxing feeling just listening to ella again...

my analog setup (michel myro) has been sitting idle for several months now...and i have forgotten how just different and musical they are...but tonight, am enjoying every bit of the analog magic again...with a real budget system - thorens-eico

and tonight, i'll ignore the ticks and pops, i'll forget about stereo imaging and all that stuff and just enjoy the music...

...its simon and garfunkel playing next, and then sinatra ...bye

i'm on my first day without a CDP. to make matters biased to analog, my DVD player konked out due to a "bubwit" trapped inside. my only sources are my trusty oracle delphi and my 12 year old JVC dual casette deck.

blast from the past :D
