Their 250VDC range limits their use to preamps and speakers xo's But they are still worth a try IMO. A thread on them with replies by Mark Kelly:

BTW, Mark Kelly uses a Garrard 301 with a diy EL34 PP Power Supply (Wein Bridge Oscillator) for variable frequency (stability). He says it can be used with all types of decks with AC motors like the TD124. Pity he has no time to post a schema of it though.
