the Tono piano is intended to mate well in "hi-end" systems. the Tono team will ensure that the piano is paired with the best gear in the market and assist would-be buyers in getting the most out of the pre-amp.

the piano does not allow for tube rolling...nor parts upgrade. it is a statement pre-amp which folks will either like or not like.

it is an alternative to imported named pre-amps in the $2-5k range.

we make no claims for now as to whether it will be "better" than this or that pre-amp. it is our own contribution to the Hi-end market at a fraction of what one would pay for a similar one...

plan is to have two designs....one local, one foreign.

for local, main consideration is what's available locally for production...and also provide some "business" to pinoys

for the export model, plans are underway to have the design done by university students outside the country and chassis manufactured abroad too..
