sige, tuberoll mo muna. any impressions on the stock EH. was using it to demo this weekend and it's a good tube...quite dynamic and hindi na magaspang after break-in.
what 5Y3 tube is included dyan? even that responds to tube-rolling!

The stock EH were respectable, if I remember correctly from my experience with the demo unit. If one does not care too much for the "fat" midrange, which some people might find very "vintage" and/or "colored", the EH are fine for the purpose. It is somewhat like a Tono 12AU7 with a "bigger" sound.
The unit I bought (and paid for with a PDC
), shipped with a Hytron brown base 5Y3. I am a little busy so there's no time to break in the preamp, though, so I can't give an opinion yet.

I have the Tono pre -12AU7 ( now paired with a Solid State PA) which is contunuosly giving me and my family countless hours of sonic feast.
This pre-amp saw action in Saudi also ahihihi.
My next tartget is the TONO Monoblocks or the Violin....
