Got it, thanks. On the attenuator on the Personal, any guidelines on where to set this before working the Violin's gain? I'd rather not hear distortion before finding out sumobra na...

P.S. 12AT7 kaya pwede in place of 5751?

marty_e, put the 807 volume control at max, then timpla mo sa violin. re: 12AT7, try it, di naman masisira yan. but the sound might be different.

I am from the Pque area, would like to get my hands first time on tubes via an 807, is this readily available? The very same stock version on demo at the Show with the Concept 6. Is the Php18k price still the same? Thanks.....

just came back from joey's home,
tried the tono 807 on his klispch.
this amp rocked joey's speakers
ganda ng bass and highs
the midrange was also superb. linaw, very detailed
ika nga complete yung tunog
then joey changed the stock 12ax7 with another one
grabe mas lalong gumanda.
mas malambing yung midrange
sayang didn't have more time to stay and enjoy the music
ano nga palang tubo yung pinalit mo?
thanks nga pala for giving it to me
thanks din pala for the tweaks you taught me
well, what can i say. galing talaga ng tono 807
bagay na bagay sa klipch
my search for speaker upgrade has just ended
klipch it is

Yes, the Tono Personal drives the Triangle Cometes nicely. It's the combination I have.

Tono 807 Audition

Postby nbc » Sun Jun 11, 2006 9:04 am

Fellow Audis... (short for Audiophiles),

I am interested in purchasing the Tono 807 of this guy... but unfortunately, he is in Baguio and thus, auditioning is going to be difficult.

I dont want to purchase sight unseen (or unheard may be the better choice of words)... as I want to make sure that the amp will mate perfectly with my speakers and CDP. I intend to use this as my office system.

Is there any kind soul out there willing to lend his Tono 807 for a few days so that I can give it a listen?

Please let me know.

thanks,

nbc (Noel 0917 844 9050)
