help on humidity around gear

Postby northwardnimbus » Tue Oct 29, 2013 6:54 pm

i recently moved in near the bay and had trouble with molds and mildew and seaspray last the rainy season. im afraid that it will ruin my gear soon.
i am currently bomabarding the area near my gears with dehumidifiers bought at ace hardware and japan home.
right now its quite tame maybe because it stopped raining.
is there any other way of controlling humidity? and mildew etc.? im spraying lysol around my lp racks too.
 is there a machine/dehumidifier?

There are portable dehumidifiers in the market. I'll check the supplier when I get back to our office tomorrow.

In the meantime, I suggest you cover your gears with absorbent cloth.

Got it directly from kolin philippines edsa/magallanes office. I think i paid 15k for it.

They have newer model and priced lower ( around 9.5 k in sulit) but of same capacity .
