Which driving school do you recommend?

My daughter just turned 16, hence I'm looking for a driving school for her.
Any of you have positive experiences and can recommend one? (or two? or three? :) )
I'm in Pasig/Mandaluyong area.
Hopefully a reputable one with cars not so laspag/unsafe, and instructors that really teach well and are courteous.
I understand they take care of the paperwork, eg, student permits etc.?
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.

A bit off tipoic...My cousin started driving at 16, the non-pro license requires 18 years of age.. it was a very very long 2 year wait for him

Nes, A-1 is A1. Good selection of cars, good instructors. And they allow chaperones for girl students, like your daughter. My daughter went there 2 years ago, learned to drive manual shift, and then promptly declared that she wanted to be chauffeur driven, so I lost my Trooper and driver to her, and I ended up using her graduation gift - a Mazda 3 sans driver.

I would recommend the Automobile Association of the Philippines, formerly known as PMA.

Not the cheapest course but their instructors are trained to teach driving especially safety.

Ha ha ha! Kung ako ang nasa lugar mo, sinabi ko sa anak mo, "Mag-public ka na lang." Spoiled kay tatay.

First, driving is a modern day skill people need. Second, you need experience to become a safer driver. Talk to your daughter again. ;-)

Same with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. After enrolling in A-1, they hired a driver   :?

Cool 8) troporobo!
Jack, yes, racing school is a great idea -- for me.

Dante and Jon, naka chauffeur na siya ngayon. I like A-1's idea of a chaperone, pwede kung pasamahin yung driver.
Baka sakaling maengganyo magdrive pag natuto, pwede nang utusan bumili ng suka. Kaya lang mukhang reverse ang experiences ninyo with A-1. :)

GB and 1down, I will also look at AAP/PMA (this is the one that issues international license, office along Aurora?). Hopefully their students don't end up not wanting to drive. :D

halls and qguy, the 2-year wait might allow more training and discipline. :?:

Thanks for the inputs, guys. :)

I suggest A1. They have Honda Civic 07 Model, CRV 06 Model for their students. I just dont have an idea to how much will it cost for a 5 hr session.

zen,

yes, aap is the agency authorized to issue international license in the philippines. their main office is along aurora, and they have a branch in makati. if remember correctly, aap also has female instructors that women students can request for.

Hello,

For beginners before you going for car driving training please ensure you are eligible for driving or not because this is risky for you if you think its simple. whenever you drive an experienced person with you.which can give you perfect ways..

Thanks in Advance
