"Dimples" otherwise known as Elizabeth Cooper also known as Isabel Rosario Cooper (from IMDB.com) was a mestiza actress, her father was scottish and her mother, filipino-chinese. "Dimples" is known for her vivacious character and her beauty. she was credited for being the first Filipina actress to be involved in a kissing scene. but apart from her carreer in philippine cinema, Dimples was also the mistress of Gen Douglas Macarthur. she met him when she was only 16 years old with Gen Macarthur already in his 50's, who was already married and has a son. When Gen Macarthur was sent back to Washington, he brought Dimples along and set her up in an apartment. it was around the late 30's when Gen Macarthur got himself embroiled in a legal tussel with gossip columnist Drew Pearson (who threatened to summon Dimples) that gen Macarthur was forced to dump Dimples. He was said to have paid her USD15,000 alledgedly delivered my Macarthur's adjutant a certain Col. Dwight Eisenhower. Dimples never left the us as per Macarthurs requests, instead she head west to california were she setup a hair salon, and eventually went back to manila to appear in some later films. to date she had around 5 films to her name. because of the breakup with Gen Macarthur, dimples went through depression and eventually took her own life in 1960, were she overdosed on sleeping pills. she died in the US

Was this mentioned in the American Caesar book?

Yup! 1934 together with another Legendary great Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig were at the stadium to score their homers.Rizal Baseball Stadium a part of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex was during that time the sports haven of Asia. It's too bad that Baseball never won the hearts of Filipinos where they can excel like in Soccer.

Wow, i remeber that iconic robot at the foreground of Ysmael Steel along E. Rodriguez in Quezon City. It was an attraction especially during Christmas season when it was being dressed up as Santa Claus along with fancy decors that competes with Pepsi Cola located along the same stretch.

Hindi sa E. Rodriguez ave. sa Espana Ext. yan located na naging DMG distributor ng Volkswagen ngayon ay Condo and
Waltermark. By the way Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez was a Japanese Collaburator. COD originally was in Avenida Rizal.

Sorry kala ko ang E. Rodriguez extends up to Welcome rotonda. Yes , COD originally was in Avenida and had branch in Araneta Center in Cubao. COD was famous for their annual animated christmas show. Dinadayo talaga at dinudumog ng manonood. When it closed shop, the traditional christmas show continues but transferred at Greenhills shopping center.
