I need an iPhone hacker

Postby troporobo » Tue Oct 21, 2014 9:41 am

I have a 4s that I am determined to keep - not a fan of phablets and phones so big they need their own area code. But I foolishly installed iOS 8, and it is so buggy that I need to get rid of it. It's no longer possible to downgrade to iOS officially, so I suppose I need someone who can jailbreak this phone and downgrade it unofficially.

Any *specific* recommendations? I am not going to just wander the cellphone tiange and hand it over to a random self-taught technician who may or may not brick it!

Yes, its no longer possible as Apple doesn't "sign" the replacement firmware

I would suggest in the meantime you upgrade to 8.1, which is much less buggy. The phone will still be a bit slower because of the older processor, so you have to turn off the background processes. I still think the 4/4S one of the best designs.

Cheers,
