While I hear Norbert Torres does have range, at some point I think dindo should have tried Paredes and Andrade since Torres was missing miserably..

Slaughter was cancelled out...Good defense by Papot and Norbert (although at 6' 6', he should not be shooting 3-point shots)...The points of Ravena, in a way was cancelled out by LA Revilla...The offense of Ateneo was matched by the great defense of La Salle...we killed ourselves with FREE THROWS and useless fouls...I hope the Archers use this experience as a learning experience...in the end, Eman killed us with his consecutive free throws! :swear: :swear: :swear:

Lim Eng Beng is one of the best guards that I've ever seen locally. Idol yan namin ni pareng Coltrane. We always talk about who in this modern era could have matched his basketball skills and fundamentals. Though stocky and not possessing great athleticism nor lightning speed, the guy could maraud any defender and score at will. His team with Julie Lim, Bilbao, Escober (sp) was one of the greatest collegiate teams we've seen. Today, our only debate was who was better between him and Atoy Co in their college days. And those were the great college basketball that I miss, without Fil-ams nor recruitment from other high school teams. But since the world has changed, so did local basketball. And I agree, Billy, Beng should have been cryo'd then, but then again, he could be recruited today by other teams with 'money'.
