I sell Kimber 8tc so take this with a grain of salt. :)

Kimber 8tc is one of Kimber's best selling and long lived products for a reason. It has good bang for the buck and is well behaved enough to be compatible with a wide range of speakers. Unlike most cables in its price range that have strong characters (warmish, brightish etc), the 8tc is just neutral, natural and clear. It has a good weighty bass coupled with a dynamic midrange which make music alive and kickin.

Having said that Kimber 8VS is our best seller because it is more affordable and is plenty sufficient for Home Theater applications. I am also a big fan of the new 12tc which is 8tc on steroids - with a fuller tone and even greater dynamics.

still the most sought-after hi-end (pre-owned) speaker cable up to now.

Likewise one of my favorite choices for spool wire along with AP Blue Oval.

congrats bro.

XLO actually came out with their own version of 8 pairs speaker wire (same 'N' quality), but it turned out to be like a meralco electric cable, the insulation was so very rigid that it can easily damage the binding post.

I've been using Kimber Kable on every component since 2000,after years of using various Monster,Audioquest, and XLO cables. It's no contest.Kimber Kable works best for me so why fix what isn't broken? Of course, that's just me.Your rig might run better with some other brand but for my money, you can't go wrong with Kimber.
