Yuriokis Gamboa, the cuban champ against Gerry Penalosa's ward Michael Farenas- 1st title crack.
A slim chance for Michael. the only way is a lucky punch that can KO the cuban champ bcoz Farenas has a KO power.

All I can say is, the odds are really stacked high against Farenas. The thing though, Farenas landed a fight against a highly rated fighter. Very good exposure. Well, in boxing, there's always an upset.
Good luck to our kababayan.

Farenas got nothing to lose but a lot to gain.
whereas, for Gamboa- a high risk w/ low reward.
I dunno why Gamboa took this fight

Alvarado can win if he will pick his target-- box & brawl. but if he will slug it out toe to toe w/ this granite chin Rios,..he will lose again.
Rios before was thinking there could be a trilogy, meaning he's beatable by Alvarado.
a must fight to watch.

bakbakan ulit to bro. I expect another Fight-of-the-year caliber/candidate match up.Been looking forward to this 2nd fight. Si Bam Bam pa rin ang manok ko. Pero delikado sya if Alvarado boxes him. Maaaring nadala na maki pag brawl eto si Alvarado. He myt box more than brawl. Pero naniniwala ako, umaatikabong bakbakan na naman to! Kailangan makapag handa ng masarap na pulutan bukas.

Alvarado fought smart. There were moments he got into a slugfest with Rios but careful enough not to get lured all the way. His lateral movements frustrated Rios and he fought with considerable distance from him who was aching for a trench war. Rios' best weapon is his chin. Alvarado had the most punches landed but Rios' chin was just too tough to crack. Alvarado knew he wouln't be able to last a pocket brawl - though he could land more punches than Rios could - owing to Rios' granite-like chin. All in all Alvarado was the better fighter of the night and almost outclassed Rios. His cumulative points gave him a comfortable distance ahead of Rios and the good thig is, he was able sustain a game plan of not fighting in the pocket and too close to his opponent. The Belt changed hands again. Hopefully a definitive rubbermatch between the two sluggers happens very soon.
Next, Our very own Nonito vs. Rigondeux.

If Michael knockdown one of the unbeaten cuban Gamboa. I think Zayas will stay in the canvas for good if Farenas will catch him in the jaw.

Tapos na ang maligayang araw ni Danny Garcia as a unified champ (WBA, WBC & Ring Magazine)
Lucas is just too good for Garcia.
A mismatch. (bakit kc hiningi tong laban na ito sa tatay ni Garcia. wrong fight, wrong choice of opponent)

Wag lang mag didi dikit si Bradley kay Marquez, mananalo sya via decision. Pag dumikit sya, may tulog sya ke Dinamita.
My take.

without PED, Marquez looks an amateur & sluggish.
People said it before & now, they will say it again that they were all right

PED? What's your proof? Get over the fact that Marquez beat Pacquiao silly.
