thanks Sir Charlie, Darkest Error

Only with superb skills and proper knowledge on the technology and tool usage will make this a possibility. Idol talaga sina sir noly and sir rene when it comes to customizing and DIYing analog stuffs. As a DIYer also, I consider my experiences still far behind these guys'. I always get challenged that everytime I see masterpieces similar to this, I always tell myself that I can do it also, someday. anyway, galing sir.

I have to thank the earlier patrons who gave their trust and support to us. We learn as we build. Im extremely proud that nowadays everything is done inhouse. Still takes us a lot of time and iterations during builds as it has to pass a certain quality standard. But, we always try our best to come up with a better build everytime. Thank you very much.

Re: TASLENCO: Cant do a Just to make it Play project

sometimes clients would drop by bringing a deck long forgotten and just to let it play again (basta umandar lang) .....

Here testing the just done "just make it play" project. We can't do just that though.
While making it play, might as well refinish the plinth, clean up the rusty plate, complete the arm, overhaul the motor and spindle bearing.

Got a call last night from the happy owner after the just make it play deck is actually a sing with all your heart table.

Have a good analog week ahead. Stay safe.

Yan ang sinasabi ko...going the extra mile...beyond the call of duty. A little effort and some tweaking goes a long way. Congratulations Noly and to the owner of this nice TT.

Re: TASLENCO: some projects done lately

Postby TheAnalogSource » Mon Dec 21, 2015 6:22 am

Sorry to not update very often. Got busy with lots of things. Anyhow, im still building lencos from time to time and here are some of the completed projects lately.

Image
This got done somewhat 3rd quarter of this year. Im kinda proud of this because it is my sort of first international project. The owner is a Canadian and this will be shipped off next year to India for his next tour of duty.
There are some design inputs from the owner such as the off center location of the table and two tone finish. It was initially designed to accommodate two arms. But after it was built, I just realized that it can even hold 3 arms. :o
One thing I realized with this project after it was delivered.....that im such a lousy photographer. look how it looks in her new home.

Image

Image
This project I have to speed up the build because after this came in, a few more got in. (well more of more than a few hehe) Im not complaining though because they would keep me busy till end of the year.
Anyhow, this project has some of the freshest parts ive put my hands on. Just look at the condition of the platter. As boytoy would say, nice and shiny. Unfortunately, the order got called off after it was done. Well more of fortunate as Ive kept it as my study till now.

So crunchtime it is as the holidays is fast approaching.....have to do a plate refinish in bulk.....
Image

This one gets ship off down the queen city of the south. Hope to get a few more orders from there. Food is superb and I need some r&r once in a while.
Image

Now i have to work even at home....found this new workbench.....workcouch pala...look ma, no more scratches....
Image

This is just a tune up....change speed, oiling, greasing, tonearm repair, rewiring, suspension reconfigure....haha dami pala
Image

ok ok aside from the latest one above picked up last week....these are still in the pipeline.... a garrard 301, 1 stock lenco, 1 supped up lenco...as well as that pioneer all in one...getting to be done.....yeah yeah before the holidays....
