Nakakatulong laway na garrard! Congrats to Mr. O and Noly! Wanna try a Garrard again someday. They say it has a warmer sound compared to the Lenco. Different strokes for different folks! ;)

Kaya Mr. DINDO of san pedro laguna, kung sakaling nababasa mo yung thread nato, isauli mo na yung garrard at cartridge ko. Its holy week and God will surely forgive if your sincere. . . :^)

Technics SL-120 also known as Technics SL-1200 Mk1 if fitted with the Technics EPA arm.
Just finished fitting this one with an SME3009 arm...a factory recommended arm for this unit as it came with an armboard bored with an SME mount.
Cartridge is Audio Technica AT440MLA.

Im always surprised whenever an odd combination or a new table brings out very good music.
....so it was meant as an audiophile turntable afterall before it caught attention of the DJs :)

Noly beybs,

go for it!

i remember when you were at the house and you enthused about the sound of a 2 way JBL 4430 you heard in White Plains. well, these critters being goaded to you by these sulsultants are close relatives. the 2360 bi radial horns remind me of momma cheek horns cast in stone by Rollie Vicencio. the venerable Lin Gomez will most probably tell you that these bi-radial horns are good for near field listening because of their dispersion. just don't walk close to them when your drunk because you may wind up sodomizing them

actually if im not mistaken, lin highly recommends rolly for the concrete cheek of the tweeter option. im poor in math so i cant remember the number. but im leaning towards that slot tweeter...ang pino.

btw, ive been sober for quite a while now hahaha

baka dahil sa kakalanghap ng chemicals. hehehe :geek: :geek: :geek:

here is the actual picture of Nolyboy's target: (also posted at The Pampanga Connection thread)

Lin actually made a platform between the horn bracket and the woofer cabinet to provide space for a tweeter. Since the 2360 is bi-radial, the ideal candidate for tweeter should have been the baby cheek, but I too would attest to the heavenly sound of the slot, not to be confused with the one spelled with a U instead of O.
