I have four 2A3 designs and each of them has weird parts that's too difficult to find!

Example is this mammoth 880 ohm 25W-50W finned resistor. where the hell is this available from?

I've mapped Mickey's parts to all four designs and still i'm 50% complete on parts!

i also need a pair of wirewound resistors for the 5687 project:

take it easy with parts. you can always parallel resistors for increased power handling ability. in my 5687 preamp, i need at least 2.5w 10k resistor. it's easy to source 2w carbon composition here, so i just take 2 pc of 20k 2w. parallel them and i get a nice 4w 10k resistor.

paralleling them reduces its stray inductance too. how nice.
