I heard a WE262B in the US installed in a WECO 94A before it was shipped by buyer to Japan. It was one of the best linestages I have seen. It has no caps in the signal stage, and it was double stage. I wish to emulate that line stage until today now that I have a pair of mesh WE262B.
On the preamp shootout, I will enter a WE352A linestage a cousin of the WE262B, hope it sounds good or comparable.
