Wiredstate is for everyone who loves music and loves everthing that enhances the listening experience -- DIYers, music lovers, audio gear collectors, vintage lovers, newbies, composers, musicians, audio dealers, deigners, golden-eared audiophiles, self-proclained audio experts, reviewers, critics, even oldfogeys like me... :)

when we first started pinoydiophiles @ wiredstate, we had a vision...that more pinoys can create world-class audio products that can truly compete with imported products out there...

so, this forum is especially dedicated to those who have both shared that vision and made our audio experience more enjoyable (and affordable) through DIY.

here are a few folks i have the pleasure of knowing or working with. they have contributed to making DIY a way of life here at wiredstate. they deserve our admiration, encouragement and support:

JM, the elusive professor
Ike - of the famous voigts!
arnoldc - everyone knows this guy
mickey - designed some tono products together with arnold
grant - cable guy, dac guy, busy guy...
mandy - narra, kamagong tonearms. we miss you, man
ed fausto - the 3/4 watt darling builder
rene rivo (who else?)
anthony - speaker cabinet builder
bon, the handyman...
the guys of NASA..stand-up guys!
ambel (that's eric's wife's name)...his 300b killer amp
joey - remember his kamagong voigts...awesome
the setup boys, the original DIYers: JE, joel, etc...
john p - creator of amps, phonostage, among others
benC - another voigt-man
red76 - speakers, amps, etc...
mike - acrylic creations
bobbrines - creator of the brinesfostex
Trex, jon, and countless others

Mabuhay kayo! Hope you can share more about your latest creations!

(please add to this list of DIYers here at WS)

The marble flooring and reflective cemented sidewalls sucks.. But there are ways to get around 'em bad acoustics.

Hey Bon and red76 - beautiful work! I especially like the custom wood mounting ring. Tell us about those cabinets. They look like they would resonate like crazy with so much unsupported surface area but maybe that's part of the design? Does that have anything to do with why you've used a Karlsson slot? What's the transition like from the upper chamber to the lower? And just what the heck are those coaxial drivers? Inquiring minds want to know!! TIA
