I have a MC 275 and i am planning on changing my 12ax7 tubes.

Any suggestions on what to replace them with? ... are there mid range tubes that will improve / add mids to my set up? i find the highs really high. i have Tungsol 12ax7s installed as of the moment..

hope to hear your suggestions

there is a recent thread here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=25874

deeco sells these tubes for 350 pesos each.....

the mc275 is a high open loop design and lots of feedback. it was designed to maintain its quality even as tubes ages, i am not sure it will respond well to tube rolling......

Thank you for the replies...

im actually using an MX110 as my pre-amp and using the 275 as my power Amp... will changing the tubes on the pre-amp stage be better, than changing the tubes on my power amp?
