Right Tony! These are from deeco and i used them on all my amps, preamps and the Compactron MM/MC phonostage. No guitar amp in my system
and they're doing fine with me. i've been hearing about the previous telefunken factory with new owner in Yugoslavia having manufactured these tubes.
and it's pricey at ebay.

Attorney, what Deeco branch is this available?? Do they also have other tubes like 6922/6DJ8?? Thanks!

Jen, i bought all these the other day at Deeco-Farmers, Cubao. Am not sure if they have new stocks on this tube next week coz i've been asking for more. Unfortunately, they don't have 6922/6DJ8.

Master Tony,
if your gear is wired for 6DJ8 and we follow your advice to use 7DJ8, will the better sonics come at the expense of a shorter tube life (for the 7DJ8)
nga pala, wag niyong paniwalaan yang si Pattorney. pakuwestiyon-kuwestiyon kuno sa Yugoslavia-made 12ax7 niya. ang tinuod niyan, pinagmamalaki niya lang ang na-lambat niya
i've gotta hand it to my lawyer-friend ESaudio. he really has the nose and passion of a superb hunter as evidenced by his audio trophies. he doesnt take the trodden path rather, he'd go for the esoteric stuff that usually prove to be even better than the iconic ones. salute!

this was the feedback given to me by one who tried my 6H23 preamp.......among his choices were the 6bk7, 6bq7 and the 7dj8...he chose the 7dj8.......the 7dj8 while rated for 7 volts can work at a range of 7.3 to 6.6 volts and the 6dj8 rated for 6.3 can work at voltages ranging from 5.9 to 6.9 volts, so here we see some overlapping....i don't think tube life is shortened if operated within these range....YMMV....

so with lower heater voltage the 7dj8 should last longer

we tuberoll also the 7AU7 and the 6BQ7 with the 6922/6DJ8 on MR's gears. They're all fine and just a matter of taste on which
tube character you prefer to enjoy.
