Thanks for your post dudong!

This reminded me of how I got started working with Edrel. Since I came home the power transformers on these two amps eventually gave up the ghost.

Edrel rewound the Heath A7 PTX which powers my stereo SE71A amp and inside the Heath W4 PTX can is the prototype AT-0100 used for JEL SE10 amp projects.

thanks JE for the pictures of the very first few projects we have done. the only problem is that the potting compound i have used is unreworkable :D i am sure though that those ptxs will last a lifetime..

+1 on Edrel's irons. Using his step down for my Luxman. Old skool build quality, when stuff was made to last and not to a certain price point.

I did my first DIY using Edrel's irons and never looked back.

Recently I built a 7119 WOT preamp using his output irons, it sounds better than the Lundahl's that I have tried before...

Except for my source, DAC and speakers, all of my audio equipment have his irons!
