6MD8 tube buffer

Continuing with tv tube saga, i set out to build a tube buffer using this tube:

If you look closely, you will recognize this tube as like a 12BH7 with extra plate and common cathodes.

here is the finished product:
i have decided against using a volume control after the hole has been punched.

inspiration to make this buffer came about when i had a chance to open up a Yquin, 6H8 buffer, that buffer used 2 sections of the 6SN7 equivalent for each channel......i had my buffer runining all 3plates in parallel, so transconductance is times 3 that of a single tube....
