KINDLY PRESENT YOUR COMPANY'S CREDENTIALS. WITH THE WAY PEOPLE ARE GETTING 'SPAMMED' THESE DAYS, A SIMPLE COURTESY OF INTRODUCING WHO YOU ARE, AS TRAUMA RIGHTFULLY DEMANDS, SHOULD BE THE PROPER STEP FOR YOU TO TAKE. OTHERWISE, THIS THREAD WILL BE PERMANENTLY DELETED - MODS

I'd like to hear from the OP himself. The links do not prove anything. Let us know more about this 'company'. I think that is not too much to ask. I'd rather err on the side of prudence.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not making this clear - I thought the username would be enough to give it away :) My apologies to the mods for not doing a proper introduction - I would have totally understood if you just nuked the post as spam. Thanks for asking for more information.

This is Jason, of and founder of diyAudio (http://www.diyaudio.com), and the job is to work with me personally here in Manila and the very distributed worldwide team of diyAudio :) This is a very real and very tangible job - and the lucky hire will be instrumental in promoting and shaping the future of do it yourself audio on the internet as we turn the audio world upside down over the next year. Well, that's the plan :)

Hit me up on the aforementioned emailed address if you're interested.

Cheers,

Jason

Love to go for beers with you guys. I'm living here now so let's catch up! Do you have a meet organized in the near future or do you have a recommendation for a good drinking establishment? :)

i think we can schedule one in your honor :D

you should get to know the DIYers here -- they are very very good. i'll even bet my hard-earned money that the Filipino DiY Masters are just as good, and in many instances even better than the best DiYers in other countries or in diyAudio.

Welcome Jason!

I have failed to find a flourishing audio DIY community elsewhere in SE Asia, certainly not on the scale found in the Philippines. Yes there are few people around but they are not “consistent” and as far as I can tell tend to produce for their own use. Perhaps I do not get out and about as much as I should ;)
