Actually if he lower his price to at least $300 or less. Someone would buy it. I sold my busted WE 300B for $200.

i remember as a teener, there was this small factory in our town rebuilding crt's.....

in the 300B's it is the filament that gets shot, the plates and other parts, the grid can still be re-used.......

Are you in the market, Dante? There's a real deal pair of WE gold pins posted at Agon for less than 2x the price of this busted pair.

Gotta take a look at this tubes.The date codes are 9952 so it was made in 1999 5th month 2nd quarter so it's a reissue. I had never seen a gold pin WE 300b before.
But if you take a closer look there are solder marks on the golden pin.The boxes are WE boxes that they used between 1950 to 1980. The tube shock damper are military
spec which i have seen in NOS tube from 1940's. There are traces of glue marks on the base of the tubes but the internal construction looks like a genuine WE.
I cannot see the getters but for me i am not buying these pairs. Looks goofy.

I guess this explains why there is a market for busted high-value tubes.
